The work aims to study the stress-strain behavior of nickel-plated graphene/titanium based composite interfaces under tensile load. In this paper, a single crystal model of the nickel-plated graphene/titanium composite interface was established by molecular dynamics simulation. The mechanical behavior of the material under tensile loading in different directions was studied. The simulation results showed that the mechanical properties of nickel-plated graphene composites increased with the increase of plating thickness. The dislocation density of nickel-plated composites could be increased by the nickel plating which was used as a dislocation source. The nickel-plated graphene/titanium composites had higher plastic deformation capacity due to the plastic deformation hysteresis of the nickel in the plating. The mechanical properties of the material depend more on the number of nickel plating layers. With the increase of plating thickness, nickel-plated graphene/titanium composites exhibit higher tensile strength, but the number of cracks and voids at the interface also increases, and the elongation of the material decreases.
